Eicosapentaenoic acid

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is an omega-3 fatty acid. The primary source of EPA is cold water fish, which ingest EPA form phytoplankton and zooplankton. ^[1] Eicosapentaenoic acid can be converted into docosahexaenoic acid, another omega-3 fatty acid. ^[2]
